Staff Developer Advocate

Pinecone is seeking a Staff Developer Advocate to own and grow their technical community, with a particular focus on building a strong SF/Bay Area presence. This is a senior, hands-on technical role for someone who can build developer relationships at scale and translate community needs into product insights. The ideal candidate will create compelling learning experiences about Pinecone's AI products, showing developers how to build reliable, scalable AI applications centered on knowledge and retrieval. This involves developing technical content through tutorials, videos, documentation, hackathon mentorship, and social posts. The role requires operating with high autonomy in a fast-paced environment, creating technical assets that demonstrate core developer use cases like RAG systems, knowledge management, and infrastructure patterns for scale and reliability.
