Developer Experience Engineer

As a Developer Experience Engineer at OpenAI, you will play a critical role in empowering developers globally by creating compelling technical content, developer tools, and sample applications. The team's mission is to provide developers and startups with a delightful and seamless experience for integrating AI into their applications and products. In this role, you will develop demos and sample applications that showcase cutting-edge integrations and best practices using reasoning models, multimodal capabilities, and agent tools. You'll create high-quality technical content including tutorials, blog posts, videos, and code samples to educate and inspire the developer community about OpenAI's models, APIs, and Codex. You will actively engage with and foster a vibrant developer ecosystem, represent OpenAI at developer events, and serve as a knowledgeable advocate. The role involves gathering developer feedback to inform product roadmaps, collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams, and contributing to improving developer interfaces and surfaces.
