As Developer Relations for MCP (Model Context Protocol) at Anthropic, you will play a crucial role in how developers build agents that interact with external systems. This role will be pivotal in growing the MCP developer ecosystem, including gathering crucial feedback to inform evolution and development of the protocol. Your success in this role will directly shape the role the protocol plays in the ecosystem across countless use cases. Building strong relationships with our developer community will be essential as we advance our mission of creating reliable, interpretable AI that follows human intent. In this role, you will drive strategic impact by executing near and long-term strategies for developer discovery and engagement. You will prioritize community building initiatives, collaborate with product and engineering leadership, and foster a collaborative culture that embodies Anthropic's values while driving innovation in developer engagement. Key responsibilities include understanding diverse developer needs, creating strategic campaigns, organizing high-impact developer events, and generating technical content like sample apps, tutorials, and integration guides. You will also act as an advocate for MCP developer needs, translating feedback into strategic initiatives and collaborating across teams to amplify developer success stories.
